North Indian Chicken gravy


INGREDIENTS: 

*  500 Grams Chicken
*  3 large ginger garlic paste
*  1/4 tsp ground cumin
*  1/2 tsp garam masala
*  2 tsp ground coriander
*  1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
*  1 stick cinnamon
*  2 black cardamoms
*  4-5 cloves
*  2-3 black peppercorns
*  5 tsp oil
*  water as needed
*  fresh coriander to garnish
*  salt to taste

METHOD OF COOKING :

STEP 1 : Heat the oil in a non stick pan and add the cloves , cardamom pods , cinnamon until its aromatic 

STEP 2 : After that add the onion and cook it until get brown in color. Add all the ingredients and pour two table spoon of water and fry till oil separates from masala. cook it for ten minutes.  

STEP 3 : Then add the chicken and cook it for three to four minutes and add some of ( 350 ml ) water to almost cover the chicken and cook it for 15 to 20 minutes the slower flame it cooks the better it tastes. 

STEP 4 : Check with a fork once its tender its done. After that add garam masala and coridander leaves and serve with hot white rice or chappati, roti , Nan .
